Comprehensive Recall Policy
When North Star Foodservice makes a decision to recall a food product, either because of a known food safety issue or just as an extra precaution, it is our highest priority. We developed North Star recall policies and procedures to meet and exceed government guidelines. They ensure immediate and effective action to remove recalled products from the market.

Recall procedures are coordinated from our Support Offices in cooperation with customers, suppliers and government health agencies. All operating divisions have their own recall teams that work directly with local leadership and our national Support Office.
